Spring into warmer weather with hands-on learning including:
With Erika Illyes, Montessori & Jewish Educator
Our Kindergarten & PreK classroom is a creative space where we make sure each child feels sage, comfortable, seen, heard, and loved. We aim to maintain a supportive and engaging environment that allows our students to wonder and grow according to their path, and guides them as they learn strategies for navigating their social and academic experiences. Most of all we really want your children to be able to feel a sense of home away from home when in our classroom.
Each day provides the children with opportunities to explore a variety of activities that are open-ended, multi-sensory, and fun. They enjoy music and movement, books to read, games to play, and nature walks in the woods on our property. We believe children learn best through repetition, trial and error, problem-solving, and patience.
As a Jewish school, we approach our customs, rituals, and holidays in a way that imbues our classroom with a depth of Jewish values that emphasize empathy, honesty, and respect while caring for ourselves, each other, our community, and our environment.
