Application Process

Thank you for your interest in MWJDS! We are thrilled to connect you with our vibrant community. Our application process, like our school, is comprehensive and personalized. Here is what to expect:

Introduce Yourself!

Complete our inquiry form to learn more about MWJDS and connect with the Director of Engagement. Once you submit, a member of our admissions team will reach out to learn more about you and your student(s).

Tour Our School

Individual tours of our school are always available and an important part of the application process: we love watching families experience the magic of our hallways and classrooms! During your visit, we will familiarize you with our academic environment, student community, and incredible faculty. Each family will also have the opportunity to meet privately with the Head of School or Director of Engagement.

We would also love to see you at one of the many admissions and community events we host.

Apply for Admission

MWJDS applications for both admission and tuition assistance are available online through two different online portals. There is a non-refundable $20 application/enrollment fee.

Admission Application

  1. Create an online account.
  2. Verify your email address and login.
  3. Create a new student application and click Start Application.

After your application is submitted, you can login to your online account to track your admissions status and monitor when applicable supplemental forms are received.

Student Shadow Day

Your student is invited to join us for a day at MWJDS! Join lessons, specials, lunch, recess, and more. Throughout the day, they’ll connect with their future peers as well as MWJDS staff who observe your student’s academic and social emotional levels.

MWJDS is a community school dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning styles. Information from the application process will ensure a positive experience during their Shadow Day and in their future tenure at our school!

Admissions Decision and Enrollment

Within two weeks after Student Shadow Day, the Director of Engagement will connect with your family to discuss the admissions decision. If your student is admitted, they will be officially enrolled once we receive their enrollment paperwork.

Application Deadline

We welcome applications for new and transfer students on a rolling basis while space permits. Applications are processed in the order they are received. Please note admissions priority is given to siblings of current MWJDS students and alumni.
