The Atid students take a monthly trip to Shillman House where they do intergenerational community service projects with the residents. Since their last meeting, students and residents collected food and toiletries to donate to those in need through Pearl Street Cupboard and Cafe. Today they made bean soup mixes to donate along with their collections. In conjunction with this month’s trip, students were asked to bring money to donate to A Place To Turn, this year’s Ben and Jerry’s Free Cone Day beneficiary, as we stopped on the way for a sweet treat.
