We kicked off our morning coffees this week with grades PK-K and grades 1-2 parents. Though the first day was too snowy to meet in person, we were able to pivot to Zoom and had a good conversation. On Thursday, we were able to share coffee together on-site for grades 1-2 parents. Both events allowed us to gather together to talk about life, parenting these days, school, and more. It’s so important to share these moments together, to see and hear people and be in their presence when possible.
As this day winds down, and I see from my office window the sun setting over the last house on Pamela Road just prior to February break, I think how far we have come as a community this year in working our way through the obstacles put in our way by the pandemic. We have Family Choice, Panim el Panim, and a staff that is continually learning how to better reach all students through hybrid teaching.
It is new territory for us all, and we are glad to be journeying through it with you.
Shabbat shalom,
