The students in Chalav and D’vash learned all about sharks this week. On Monday they read a story and completed some class work. On Wednesday they created water color shark scenes which are hanging in the hallway. Did you know that some sharks are hatched and others are born naturally? Did you know that mother sharks leave their babies instantly and they are left on their own? Ask your Chalav or D’vash student to share more interesting shark facts with you.
In social studies we finished preparing our Massachusetts lap books and we began to research about Massachusetts using computers. This is a nice introduction to doing research as we will begin our country studies very soon.
In grammar we learned about adjectives and wrote some very silly sentences. We will now be moving onto learning how to use the dictionary. Our first step is to practice alphabetizing.
Check out some photos of our week below!
