Everyone is going to blog this week. The students in Se’orah are going to share something they learned from the fabulous field trip to Plimoth Plantation.
Zachary: “I learned that I am a sheep whisperer! I learned that metal and butter came from England. There was a baby named Zachariah.”
Clara: “I learned that about 50 died on the Mayflower. I also learned that Plimoth is spelled differently than it used to be spelled.”
Benjie: “I learned that a baby was born when they landed.”
Gabrielle: “Phillip took us on a tour of the Wampanoag Village and the beds were made out of animal fur. We got to see a mishoon being built.”
Dafna: “I learned that two people fell over board, one was saved the other was not. The one that was not saved was William Bradford’s wife. A boy named Oceanus was born on the Mayflower.”
Ella: “I liked the Wampanoag site because we got to stand in the Mishoon and we went into a lot of the houses.”
Todah Rabah to Hope and Jina for coming with us! We were very lucky to have a guide show us around the Wampanoag Village!
